-
Exercise care, diligence and skill in providing you with advice; and
-
Meet the standards of ethical behaviour, conduct and client care set out in the Code of Professional Conduct for Financial Advice Services (these are designed to make sure we treat you as we should and give you suitable advice).
What does our service cost?
Thrive Financial Services does not charge fees, expenses or other amounts for the insurance and Kiwisaver financial advice provided to clients.
How are our Financial Advisers remunerated?
For services in relation to insurance and KiwiSaver, commissions may be paid by the product provider as follows:
-
Initial commission – a percentage of the value of your insurance premiums or investment contributions, and
-
Ongoing commission – a percentage of the value of insurance premiums or your investment balance, usually calculated at the end of each month in which you hold the investment or on renewal of insurance product.
Conflicts of Interest and Incentives
From time to time, product providers may also offer your Financial Adviser other incentives for example they may give tickets to sports events, hampers, or other incentives.

We follow an advice process that ensures our recommendations are made on the basis of each client’s goals and circumstances. Our financial advisers undergo annual training about how to manage conflicts of interest. We maintain registers of conflicts of interests, and the gifts and incentives we receive. Thrive Financial Services monitors these registers and performs an annual review of our compliance programme.
